From: jeffl on 7 Jul 2010 15:19 I'm recording 20 soundbites of 90 second song samples--four samples in 5 genres of music (ie classic rock, hard rock, country, dance and modern/alternative) for my new website -(up in 2weeks) I'm recording the songs in sonar 7.2 and I'm used to mastering a bit in Sound Forge 4.5 after the Sonar Any tips on whether I should export all samples to SF-maximize/master and then bring the samples back into CW or put the samples together in SF--the idea is people will click on a tab (like hard rock) and then hear a sample of me doing AC/DC which segues into other audio samples of Gnr, Ozzy, Twisted-or they can click on country and hear 4 snippets of country stuff. I'm just wondering if I will lose fidelity by taking each song into SF-mastering that-and then bring it back into CW to marry the 4 song examples together to make 1 file and then exporting that file and then making the mp3--just want the best fidelity for web. thanks Jeff
