Sorted it by downloading the Winebottler stuff.

It's handy from time to time - especially if I want to use the 'premium'
OWA client on the Air.

What has frustrated me recently is that my employers provide a web-based
VPN thingie to access the corporate intranet and applications via your
home PC. Which I used a few days ago for the first time.

Seems someone looks at the logs and blocks OSX, though, as I get a
warning about needing Windows, with some kind of anti-virus and firewall
now - it seems to run a javascript check too see if you have it.

The systems actually worked perfectly with Safari, so I don't understand
why they don't like OSX.

There's a few sites like that around, I don't know why they have to
actively block any particular system or browser. Why not just provide a
warning that everything may not work properly, and let us decide whether
to bother with it or not.

I've often changed the browser ID (using the Debug menu), and found they
usually work OK if you force a false ID for Safari.

Tried that, and also tried a fresh install of IE6 using Darwine. Still
doesn't work, as the javascript seems to be able to check for firewalls
and anti-virus.

Not a big issue - but the system would have saved me plugging in my
company laptop - I have to use Powerline as I haven't been on the course
to teach me about WPA - and until I do that I can't have WiFi activated.
