Or, perhaps recovery is dependent on how softly it was interrupted. A hard restart might not allow TM to save pointers required to pick up where it left off. For that matter, something like a Finder Relaunch might cause the same problem. Next time your system behaves strangely, try telling TM to stop backing up, and wait for it to complete the task before doing a restart. Fred |
