Original 121 SIMs were Usims or something and won't work in any other phone. 2. SIM's were originally credit car sized. These days they come in a credit card sized outer and can be popped out. If you are careful you can cut a small SIM out of an old large card.

I think that may be further back than most users - One2One became T-Mobile in 2002. If someone has had a SIM for that long and used it regularly, it should still work. If it's an old SIM from a drawer, it's probably been disconnected years ago. If they have a early/mid-1990s SIM things might be different, I'm not sure. Theo

Most recentish phones accept USIMs. But I guess there might be something else special about such USIM/SIMs that ties them to a particular phone. -- Brian Gregory.
