No. If you have a 220V supply for a 1541-II, that will work fine. The drives have a round DIN connector on the back for the power input. These connectors are the same as you would find on a 1541-II. (Interesting enough, the power supplies also say they work on the "1571-II" ;-) Regards, Leif
