Thank you Rich :-)

I can do an Alt + printscreen on any html page and
get a jpg image.
I just downloaded and setup Gimp but what a
complicated mess it is.

I can use PhotoFiltre to rotate images that need it.

Some of the pages are distorted a bit and it would
be helpful to be
able to ḋrag and rotate the edge of an image to
make it square.

Do you know of any simple prog that could do that.

TIA

I don't know of anything simple and I have used gimp now for several
years so I am not all that familiar with other apps. Maybe JC can advise.
As you have found, just about anything can rotate an image. Deskewing and
applying corrections interactively is another matter. Best I can advise
is back to gimp. Here is a 4 minute demo on one way to adjust individual
images.

Photo! Editor has the easiest photo straightener of any app I've
tried, freeware or not. However, there is no batch straightening
capability.

http://pho.to/editor/examples/straighten.php

Jeez that's rubbish.

Picasa's photo straighten function is much simpler and better!
