Why does it matter that the product is free? Support rarely is,
including VM Ware's free products.

You are correct, but I'd rather post here daily in the hopes somebody
knows the answer than to spend $250 for a problem that most likely can
be fixed in 10 seconds.... if I just knew what to do.

posters ever replied how or if the problem was resolved.

It installs on two other machines, so it's something specific to my
msiexec.exe on that PC. Something is borked because I don't get any
of the setup screens that ask about where to install it, press next to
continue, etc. It just does it.

Any ideas of how to fix that? Or set it back to the defaults? I
think I've seen this "issue" with a couple other programs I installed
too, but they still worked.
