So I have 3 days off now from my real job and I am going to look at
creating an AI personality to do some preliminary testing.

So I will be working on creating the Complaining Farmer example that is
near the beginning of this thread.

So I might use Yahoo widgets to make him and hook him up to a weather
feed or I might do some programming using the Delphi computer language.

So that is what I will be doing and will develop a methodology for the
construction of AI personalities if I can. A way of passing that
information to other programmers. They will then add to it or change it
or make their own.

There are standard practices in programming such as to have a JAD
session and you can use flow chart diagrams, but I want to expand on
information pathways, since you want to be able to navigate through a
neural net.

And information pathways using logical constructs and symbols such as if
A then B and the backward chaining inference engine which looks like if
C then B if B then A. And the addition of data points and input from
sensors which then becomes if A then B+i, if B modified, then C and it
can branch into a neural net, but we want to be able to create a pathway
and not disperse into a neural net. So that we can properly target the
functions of human behavior and not end up with simply the idea that all
you need is a neural net and things will happen by themselves.

AI is a subject I enjoy so I will work on creating an AI assistant and
who knows how long that might take but lots of preliminary work has
already been done, and I have already elsewhere, written down a complete
system which includes giving the character free will and even
consciousness but I don't know how far I will take it or how successful
the methodology will be until it is made and tested.

Feel free to try your own hand at that if you wish.

I will provide a link to the preliminary example AI when I get something
done.
