Sounds like an excellent idea ;-)

It appears from your subsequent posts that you don't.

So you ignored the first part of the response?

<cough>

Erm, pay careful attention to the following facts:

1) Trolls change their identity to an extent that sometimes, my killfile
entries fail.

2) New trolls turn up from time to time (and I don't always spot 'em
immediately).

3) Therefore, my killfile needs infrequent editing.

4) Things happen in temporal sequence, some things before others[1].

5) When the post you're commenting on was actually sent, my killfile was
*THEN* in firmly `blocking the lot' state. So it was true, nyer.

6) I'm using MacSoup[2], which allows post-by-post over-rides of
individual killed posts (and given the graphical thread display, I can
see particular posts in position in their threads and tell if I want to
read 'me or not).

Does that explain things?

I'm pretty sure I've not unkilled a troll's post recently. James
Jolley, yes - not trolls, not that I can recall anyway. <shrug>

Rowland.

[1] This is an unproven assumption, based on `that's how it looks to
me'. Until I understand `the nature of time' somewhat better than any
human `currently still living' (if such a phrase has meaning in the vast
depths of the timeless unknowable multiverse or whatever you wanna call
`all of it, everything, not just the universe we can see'), I don't
think I can do better.

the same Haller ilk which once produced the famous Harry?

Someone must, somewhere... You'll know if it's you I mean. And it's
probably not.

Unlikely, given that Harry Haller is fictional.
Do you recognise some aspects of him?
