Account Lockout event log only recorded ... sometimes
Hello, I've got my policy set up on Account Management success and Failure and I have been getting records in the event log when user accounts lock out (a 644 event) and I still get them, but it seems to be a hit-or-miss thing recently. AD replication issue

Domain Controller backup
I'm trying to adjust my DC's backup plan. I believe we're backing up more than we need to. Currently we backup the entire C drive which is where the OS is installed. clean failed DC out of AD do i only need to do KB 216498?
are there any other steps? I ask because the DC didnt fail after a unsuccessful domain controller demotion, it just failed and we are in the processes of rebuilding one with a new name. Does anyone have a way to limit concurrent logins besides using limitlogin ? We tried installing limitlogin, but during the AD setup we kept getting "The remote server returned an error: (404) Nout found.
