iMac 21.5", OS X 10.6.3, Canon MF4150 multifunction laser.

This MF printer is only partially supported in OS X (no scan
capability). Every time I power the computer on, a fax version of the
printer is added. Locking the setting in System Preferences--
Printer/Fax doesn't help.

I guess I can keep going to System Preferences every week and deleting
all the spurious printers that were installed-- but if you know how to
solve this one, I'm all ears...
