From: trey on 10 Apr 2010 06:46 I'm using Windows 2008 Enterprise Edition Server. I cannot raise the "Maximum conections" to more than the default( 2) for the network adapter. The control is not disabled but the value remains at 2 even after I type anything higher in it Is there any workaround to allow more RDC sessions simultaneously?
From: Meinolf Weber [MVP-DS] on 10 Apr 2010 07:22 Hello trey, To use more then 2 RDC connections you have to install the server as Terminal server in application mode, buy Terminal server client access licenses in the needed amount and install a Terminal server licensing server. Without the above you are able to use 2 administrative connections with Remote desktop and on on the machine itself, that's it.
