.... and what ?

I name you co-responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs. Now what ?

If you are so convinced that your (various) detractors have wronged you so,
why have you not taken the matter up in a court of law, where your rights
will be enforced (or rather, reminded to you, as well as the rights of
others) in a grand style ?

Or, perhaps, is it just that you like to see your own words in print ?

Methinks thou dost protesteth too much.

Marc we met years ago in tor can or ont .general. Unimportant.

I don't get it. Is this the same AP from 20 years ago?
What's he doing posting from Google? How could a forgery
this late in the game trigger such a naive response when
the 'real' AP took on Sarfatti and Hannu?

Perhaps what I'm smoking is causing the confusion.

Probably tor.general - I'm closer to Ottawa now, so ott.general is my
*.general hangout :)

I'm genuinely wondering if the naivit is genuine or if this is simply a
personal for this AP persons' amusement. To refer to the Internet as
"new" is rather silly. To suggest that one can subpoena an entire
newsgroup is farcical and to think that quoting someone (whether mis-
quoting or not) is worth any money at all, not to mention the hundreds of
thousands he states is uproarious :)

If he wasn't such a narcissist, his posts wouldn't even be worth looking
at, but I have to admit a certain childish amusement at his sense of
entitlement on the Internet.

If anything, when trying to comprehend Archimedes, what you're smoking
probably makes it easier :)

Amusingly, he reminds me, in a parallel sense, of Jamie Baillie: Years of
complaints yet absolutely zero action on them.

Just to be clear: AP's claims are utterly spurious. I have not forged
his posts. My posting address is in the From header and the quotation
is clearly indicated as a quotation (just as in this post).

AP is claiming that in a post like this, I'm trying to fool people
into believing that (in this case) James S. Harris wrote the post. It
is an utterly silly complaint.

I'm not sure why you think that naive "reasoning" from AP is
surprising. I guess you have a little more respect for the King of
All Science than I do.

Oh, I think the only person who "thinks" (and I am being extremely generous
with that word) that there are any issues of forgery are AP himself.

Given the outlandishness of his claims, I think that is what raises the
humour value.

As with all nutjobs on Usenet, only those who know they don't have a case
actually talk about it in public. Those with genuine (insert criminal act
here) concerns call a lawyer :)
