From: Tom on 15 Jul 2010 10:18 Can anyone tell me the best Anti-Virus program? I just want anti- Virus 2010. I used in the past 2009 CA EZ trust and I was happy with this but it seems that the 2010 deletes programs that it does not know like gotomypc.I had to re install this and check it off not to scan, I also looked Kaspersky Anti-Trust 2010, but the reviews and ratings on different sites give me different ratings on all the anti-virus . I really cannot tell which one out there is great. I do not like Norton at all. I want a program that takes care of the anti virus , worms and etc. I need this for home and I also would like to look into a good one for business separate from the home. I also was looking for AVG which I hear allot about for home and do not think they have one for business. The free version seems OK what I been told but I do not want any program to slow up the computer. Thanks to all Tommy

I wish I had seen your post in this group first. Don't multi-post. Antivirus 2010 ? This one? http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-antivirus-2010 Hopefully, that is not what you meant, as it is a rogue malware program. Go get Malwarebytes Anti-Malware application at http://malwarebytes.org/ -- free, download and install, update, and do a full scan. -- -bts -Four wheels carry the body; two wheels move the soul

Thanks to all Tommy Microsoft Security Essentials is currently rated as one of the best FREE anti-virus products and beats many of the paid products. I have been running it on Windows XP, Vista and 7 systems and it suits my needs.
