garmin has had mac software for a few years. you don't say which garmin
gps you have but i'd be very surprised if it didn't work with their mac
software.

Whatev.

Thunderbird has worked just fine for a number of folk, and I'll concede
off the bat it isn't as full featured as others, but it works fine, just
fine- and has for a lot of years, a lot of upgrades to my Macs and to
T-bird itself. Price is right, too.
