Do Apple list every single file they update in a point release? I'd be
surprised if they did, there must be hundreds if not thousands.

And if not, then calling this a 'stealth' update is disingenuous. It's
no more a 'stealth' update than all the other files that are updated at
the same time. They do put out Security Updates between point updates,
that patch vulnerabilities - is that admitting that they have to protect
the Mac against malware? Probably - and the point is?

Bit of a non-story I think.

Indeed, and it could hardly be considered a stealth change being as
10.6.4 officially includes security update 2010-04.

It is somewhat interesting that the malware scan file's getting updated.
