From: JohnB on 7 Apr 2010 20:29 This probably really isn't a Windows issue, but I'm hoping someone here has an idea on what could be wrong. Users RDP into a Terminal Server. Some on the LAN and some remotely. All work ok except for 2 buildings that each have their own high speed cable connection. Just the cable modem. No hardware firewall. On those 2 locations the app times out. Only 2 computers at each of those locations. RPD will time out at the globally defined session timeout for TS, which I believe is 3 hours. The app times out anywhere from 1 minute and up. By "times out" I mean, the application no longer functions.... none of the buttons work and it does not accept keyboard input. The mouse still moves. You can X out of the app and still use the RPD session. There is no timeout setting for this app. Internet connectivity still works when the app has timed out. I realize this is an off the wall problem... I was just hoping for suggestions on things to check. Thanks.
