From: SneakerZed on 8 Sep 2006 08:52 I have one user who get the "Attachment Security Warning" everytime they try to open an ".xnk" (link) file in Outlook 2002. I have done the registry hack by adding the Level1Remove to the registry to no avail. This is isolated to this system, other users do not have this issue. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanx Rick
From: Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook] on 8 Sep 2006 09:53 Sounds like the registry value isn't configured correctly or maybe Outlook hasn't been restarted. From: SneakerZed on 8 Sep 2006 11:51 I checked and rechecked - registry entry is correct. I have removed office/outlook and re-installed. I removed office/outlook manually including all registry entries - problem still exists. I am at a los at this point to understand this. From: Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook] on 8 Sep 2006 13:01 Can you export that part of the registry, open the .reg file and post the relevant entry in the text of your response? Also, check on the Help | About Microsoft Outlook dialog and tell us what it says for "security mode." -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "SneakerZed" <SneakerZed(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:DF7EC7B7-6C20-4D2A-8B99-11E1E68D4841(a)microsoft.com... >I checked and rechecked - registry entry is correct.
