A good part of my life revolved around Doom/Doom2/Duke3D for the better
portion of 2 years... ;)

And don't even get me started talking about Quake and it's descendents...

Oh, we got here still quite a few (mostly Pentium 4, but also Athlon's)
systems with only 512 MB of RAM. They _are_ due to be replaced soon,
though.
And my old Athlon XP 1800+ at home also still has 512 MB or RAM (but a
80 GB "first disk" plus 2 Ultra-160 SCSI disks of 73 GB, you can see
I mostly use it for file processing, not calculating power).
