You can then edit the wave as you wish and encode the result to MP3 with any of many, many editors/encoders. -- dadiOH ____________________________ dadiOH's dandies v3.06... ....a help file of info about MP3s, recording from LP/cassette and tips & tricks on this and that. Unless you've bought their bundled software with a unit for directly working with the encode, the answer is no. However, presuming you are able to convert a file from the unit with Switch (I don't know one damn thing about this outfit), there are several accessible audio editors for subsequently handling common audio codecs. MP3Trim, for instance, which is less an editor than a "splicer" for automating silence- detection indicators across an entire range within values provided a time-silence parameter. http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html
