I cannot download authorware for microsoft vista. Is there anything I can do to run authorware?

Many people are using Authorware with Vista without any difficulties. We
need a few more details to figure out what's wrong...

Are you talking about the author tool Authorware or the Authorware Web
Player? Are you getting any error messages when you download? What version
of Vista do you have? What version of what internet browser are you using?
Is it perhaps IE 7 running in "protected mode"? Are you an administrator on
the machine or do you have admin rights?

First thing to try is turning off protected mode in IE7. Also make
www.adobe.com a trusted site - at least for the time of the install. You can
remove it from the trusted sites afterwards if you want. You will want to
add the host for the Authorware web content to the trusted sites list and
keep it there. Use the following link for the system you're on...

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=AWPfull
&P2_Platform=Win32&P3_Browser_Version=MSIE&P5_Language=English
