From: Susan May on 5 Jan 2010 12:01 I have 663 contacts that my boss wants me to manually add their birthdays to his calendar. Is there an automated way of taking the birthday field in Outlook 2007 contacts, and adding them to the calendar in a recurring event, so I don't have to manually add these every month? I don't mind deleting the ones that leave the company, but surely, there is a faster way than what I am doing. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Susan
From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 5 Jan 2010 13:44 if the field in completed in the contact, outlook should create the birthday automatically. However - this only works for contacts you create. Importing can cause issues. If you are importing, see http://www.rsoutlook.com/us/prods/prod05.html. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Poll: What version of Outlook do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=27072 "Susan May" <SusanMay(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6B5DF1EE-3A71-4563-BF01-5831114B5532(a)microsoft.com... > I have 663 contacts that my boss wants me to manually add their birthdays > to > his calendar.
