DNA codes for proteins wch. are manufactured in the cells and grows the cells to full size again. 4. As cells proliferate differentiation of cells is effected by turning on and off various gene sequences in the DNA molecule thus producing different organ tissue types. 5. Meanwhile the L-R symmetry of the body derives from the first cell division. The R cell forms the R half of the body and the L cell forms the L half mirror symmetrically. 6. Subsequent tissue elaboration is mainly controlled by local conditions and mechanisms eliciting elaborate parallel cascades of complex chemical reactions producing nerves, veins, bones etc. 7. Presumably all of this originated historically in totally random and haphazard mutations in the DNA molecule wch. were then culled via natural selection to leave by default the surviving version of DNA wch. we produces Man today. DEDUCTION: Presuming the above synopsis of human ontogeny is basically correct, we see that there IS NO resident "blueprint" anywhere in the body which has a total "map" or "design" of a fully grown human body. Rather, the human organism is simply the result of MASSIVE SEQUENTIAL CASCADES of billions of chemical reactions WITHOUT any "master plan" or "blueprint" of the final result resident anywhere in the body. On the other hand IT IS TRUE that given the existing DNA molecule and the existing cell machinery in the egg that the production of what we call the "human body" is predictably inevitable every time given normal environmental conditions. To draw an analogy, given identical conditions, kicking over the kerosene lantern in Mrs. Leary's barn will produce the same identical Chicago fire every single time...even there is no "blueprint" for the result contained in the lantern. It's simply predictable... and same is true with the production of the human body from the egg. CONCLUSION: Based on historical psychological investigations, world Religion, particularly Christianity, has posited that the human body resorts to a "virtual reality" (e.g. a "super-dream" state) upon death where it is "Resurrected" as a PERFECTED virtual body. Recent developments have allowed as how such a virtual reality could possibly be effected by microwave or infrared signals (Frohlich) in the Microtubule cytoskeleton of the cells immediately after death. There appears to be no a priori theoretical roadblock to such a conjecture. HOWEVER, the theory of Life After Death (LAD) also holds that the resurrected (spiritual/virtual) body will be "perfected"... i.e. will be perfect. As we now know no one has a perfect body... in fact some people far less perfect (fully grown) than others, and Hammond has shown that this Secular Trend Growth Deficit is the DIRECT PSYCHOLOGICAL CAUSE of the world wide phenomenon we call "God". According to this theory, having a perfect (fully grown) body is tantamount to being in a condition of "eternal life" and since no one is or ever has been in such a condition, no one has eternal life.... but supposedly the "resurrection body" will be "fully grown" and therefore we WILL HAVE "eternal life" in this conjectured afterlife state. THE PROBLEM then, seems to be HOW the microtubule system, which only has access to the ACTUAL BODY we were born with could be ABLE to produce a FULLY GROWN body in this Afterlife Dreamstate resurrection? since we have just deduced that there IS NO internal blueprint for a perfect body anywhere to be found in the body ..... where could it get the information to concoct one? It seems that the "Beatific Resurrection" as posited by St. Paul in I Corinthians Ch. 15 vs: 35-55 would be in fact a physically-biologically impossible!!!! SNIP You premise is always to try to solve the 'spiritual' via physical references/conjecture, albeit a very worthwhile intellectual exercise (the body also thrives on exercise). One clue of many varied attempts to solve what is also known as the 'absolute', via laws of relativity, is typified by your reference to eternity which has nothing whatever to do with the 'time based' processes to which you refer. In eternity, you dont 'become' anything, you 'is'. What you are looking at, and searching for, are clues. The solution is to identify the searcher, not the search. Science has reached 'literally' the outer limits, beyond which are empirical free zones (Hawking talks of 'imaginary time' beyond the event horizon for example. You have noted 'first is the cell', but why, is also beyond the grasp of science.If that is the case, then why, as a species, do we keep searching? Simply because the individual has an insatiable need for 'self' discovery. The empirical, and even epistemological, requires external confirmation. An anathema to self realization. Perhaps to give your left side brain a rest (a misnomer btw), you should read some of Rumi's poetry occasionally. Bear in mind, the greatest scholars of the past,"Newton, da Vinci,Pythagoras etc, were a reservoir of all disciplines. BOfL

Perhaps this resurrection theory is a result of this "prime directive". For instance, during a state of sexual urge all types of perfection theories are personally formed even to the point of witnessed phenomena. I, myself, in a past, have done extensive research in this area as I know many others have also across all human history. I, or we, have found that given a saloon environment, as one example, and given a time constraint (ie: a "closing time") most persons of sexual preference (eg: females) will trend towards body perfection. They will physically, and so objectively, change in as little as 20 minutes, somehow. So if Darwin, then all of Darwin. If god, then all of god. There is obviously life after death. No theory needed. Humans are not annuals but perennials. The primal sense and reality of being individual helps to ensure this. Maybe just not on our own personal terms all the time but then what else is new?
