Well you qualify on both counts. Still waiting to hear from your imaginary lawyers or imaginary police officers by the way. > The Horn just got another award btw. That's 3 in 18 months. Adrian ( the > owner ) has congratulated me on my contribution. Me me me me me me me me........ It's a shitty pub that puts on tribute bands. Giving free drinks to get worthless "awards" (best music venue in a 200m radius) is no big deal. Hell, I won best soundman/stage in LA in the one of the free rags awards back in 99 when I was house engineer at the Whiskey-a-go-go (now THAT'S a real venue), voted for by the bands that played at the venue not some "judge" taking backhanders. I don't brag about it, in fact I never even went back to collect the award. People should be judged on the work they do and that work should speak for itself. I never get complaints about the sound I get for bands (although I do get plenty of compliments) yet I don't feel the need to broadcast that to the newsgroup in the hope of getting some credibility. People here are well aware I know about live audio from the advice I give. Just a pity you can't say the same. Phildo

So Graham, you want people to believe that a typical analog mixer has only one op amp in its signal path? > The world is analogue, > not digital. The world of today is hybrid. > Shall we now discuss the failings of A/D and D/A converters ? If modern converters are so bad Graham, why are so many people on AAPLS buying consoles, equalizers, and amplifier management systems that contain them?

The reason people around here find you such an insufferable fool is because of your pompous self aggrandising attitude and aggressive nature coupled with your general ignorance of the subject of this particular newsgroup which is LIVE sound, not electronics, not recording, not religion... live sound - comprende? no I guess you never will. The posts denouncing me a week after I left for vacation proves it all. I could stop posting here tomorrow, and you'd still be venting at me a year from now.
