Getting to the time where I need to upgrade my phone.

Been looking at the Blackberry 9700. One of the cheaper plans offers me
free internet and email (fine) but another more expensive tariff offers
orange maps as well.

Surely if I am getting free internet then the Blackberry already has
Blackberry maps included or is there something special about Orange maps???

Orange Maps gives you voice guided navigation - like a normal sat-
nav. BB maps, like Google Maps, just shows you a map and a route but
no voice.

I too have a Bold 9700 on Orange and I don't often use Orange Maps
although it depends what need you have of the service. I got the
contract before Orange revised their tariffs - maps was available free
on all £30/month or above tariffs.
