The big problem being that too many people rememberd the Oric 1 for the
buggy mess that it was. The Atmos was a nice wee machine, but was firmly in
the 'too little, too late' category.

I can't swear to it but I'm pretty sure they have. However, they're always
interested in duplicates because it means they have access to spare parts.

I ran the developent of a major government department project on one of
these, travelling up and down to London by train - so much so that when
it developed problem on the way down I had to buy a new one in
MicroAnvica for the return journey while the other was fixed. Have the
full kit somewhere - ran nicely on an external 5 cell AA rechargeable
battery pack.

Now I did do a lot of work on one of these too.

Last week, forced to clear the garage while it was being re-roofed, I
found the ardboard box for one of my 2 ZX81s. That outfit is raound
somehwere too - but not in the garage.

Well, from a historical perspective maybe, but now I think the iPad is a
perfect replacement for what it could do.
