I just noticed that under "Devices" is "Apple Wireless Keyboard" and
"apple's Mouse." Notice that the mouse isn't referred to as "Magic Mouse."
Note also the failure to initial capitalize (i.e., "apple's" vs. "Apple's").

I didn't name it at all...the computer arrived this way. All I did was the
usual set up of the name of the computer and my admin account, neither of
which includes any reference to "apple," "Apple," or any other fruit ;) (I
named everything the same as my previous machine).

I know it makes no difference. But _someone_ assigned the name -- a name
that is both lame, and grammatically strange. It sure doesn't give me the
warm & fuzzies about who they had working on the machine before it left the
factory.

Yes, you are wrong...on two counts:

1. It's brand new;

2. I didn't buy it.
