From: Chrome Boy on 31 Dec 2009 17:02 I got it a couple of hours ago. I'll put it on the Netbook tomorrow. Thanks for the tip though. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Peter Foldes is a PIMP and he wants to be a millionaire in 2010 by using his sister and wife..
From: PA Bear [MS MVP] on 1 Jan 2010 03:10 What Samsung program are you trying to uninstall? What did Samsung Support have to say about this? What does Revo do that does not happen through Add/Remove programs? It looks to me like it just presents the exact same list of installed programs from the same list but in a different view (fancier) and if you follow through what it does when you choose to uninstall, it runs the exact same uninstall that Add/Remove Program does - exactly the same. What makes it "better" beside propaganda and the friendlier interface? What can you demonstrate with an example of something it does differently that the Windows uninstall routine? I can prove it does the exact same thing, so please help me understand why Revo dies something more/better. Sometimes I guess a different presentation of the same information means "better".
From: Chrome Boy on 1 Jan 2010 14:55 The program I'm trying to uninstall is the Samsung Back up to a external drive. It's a annoying pop-up when starting up and we don't have a external drive. As yet Samsung have not replied to my e-mail. (Holiday Break ? ). I have NOT done anything to the Netbook since our earlier correspondence. I have downloaded Revo to this computer but NOT put it on the Netbook.
