From: LitlWillie on 30 Jun 2010 03:34 Had an issue with getting the 'Waste Toner Box Full' message and not having a new one to replace it.:( ::Warning! Warning! Warning! Danger! Danger! Will Robinson!:::eek: ::*DO NOT REUSE WASTE TONER BOX!*:::eek: The only problem I saw was safe handeling and disposal of the waste toner as a reason not to reuse the toner box. ::*I do not recomend that you do this. If you do you are totally responseble for any personal injury or damage to your printer!*:::cool: While using breathing protection and latex or rubber gloves. On the bottom of the waste toner box is a clear plastic peice (window) held on with two screws. Remove the screws and very carefully remove the window so as not to damage the foam gaskets under it. Very carefully remove the two foam gaskets and set aside to reuse (also to keep them from getting dirty). Also be careful to not damage the roller on the top ot the toner box. Turn the toner box front edge up over a small trash can lined with a plastic bag and gently tap the toner box. This will cause the waste toner to fall from the box into the bag. Do not shake the toner box! This will cause the waste toner to enter the air. If necessary tilt the toner box to the left and right to get all the toner out. Once it is empty use a cotton swab to clean out the gasket groove. Reinstall the foam gaskets and then carefull reinstall the window and the two screws. Wipe the toner box clean and reinstall according to manufacturers instructions. Dispose of the waste toner according to local regulations. Your ready to print again!:)
