From: iafilius on 16 Nov 2009 04:29 Hello, For setting up a BGP router i'd like to use a NIC which gives some flexibility. my wishes are: -Quad (or more) -PCIe bus as preference -SFP based with or whitout SFP modules -good performance and stability -preferred supported by standard driver in kernel. and like to know the cost i've have a look at: PEG4SFPi6 and Niagara 4NE-76-4SFP Both intel 82576 based, but i'm not sure if the will work out of the box, and i'm not sure this is the best buy regards in advance.
