From: gtr on 23 Apr 2010 13:39 For a good long time now (6 months? A year?), I've been getting periodic system complaints that read like this: System extension cannot be used The system extension "/Syustem/Library/Extensions/CDSDAudioCaptureSupport.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try re-installing it, or contact the product's vendor for an update. I don't know who the vender is remember hearing it was an adjunct to SpinDoctor, which I've never used, and part of the fleet of stuff installed with Toast Titanium 10. Perhaps. Does anyone know a way to: a) "Correctly" install it, or install a new version b) Uninstall it so I don't encounter this error? c) Any other way to reconcile this appropriately or inappropriately? The problem nowadays is that Google gives you more information that you want. You have to spend a week poring over all the guesses, and others asking the same question. I saw many rumors of cures and hopes for updates that would resolve it. Was there a solution in there? -- If you limit your actions in life to things that nobody can possibly find fault with, you will not do much. -- Lewis Carroll

Based on its title "Audio Capture Support", it seems that SpinDoctor is the only program that calls for this extension. I think Toast is the only one I've used, so far, from the Toast Titanium suite. -- If you limit your actions in life to things that nobody can possibly find fault with, you will not do much. -- Lewis Carroll
