From: ToddAndMargo on 19 Jan 2007 01:20 Hi All, Help! I am using CentOS 4.4 (~rhel 4.4) and CUPS cups-1.1.22-0.rc1.9.11 Always when I boot cups fails. About 1 out of 10 times it will also fail when started manually. Any idea how to fix this? Many thanks, -T /etc/rc.d/init.d/cups start Starting cups: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/sbin/printconf-backend", line 7, in ? import backend File "/usr/share/printconf/util/backend.py", line 836, in ? context = readNsp (namespace = "printconf") IOError: read failed on '/read_policy/read_set/local' element cupsd: Child exited with status 1!
