From: Richard Tanner on 17 Dec 2009 07:14 Is there a freeware, as opposed to the usual shareware, calendar maker I can download. I don't need the facility of putting in pretty pictures, just a table shwing months and days? I'm running W7. Richard

But OP is looking to make printable calendars, since "calendar _MAKER_" is the term used and s/he mentions no pictures, just needing months/days. Daysease will do both. It isn't my favourite printable calendar maker as it's pretty limited, but it's freeware. Any number of download sites provided: http://www.google.ca/#hl=en&q=daysease&meta=&aq=f&oq=daysease&fp=9fc85632ae225b92 If you don't mind an online dl, there are prepared printable calendars available for dl, which I've used a time or two. Don't know about these, but here are an example of ones available (though I don't guarantee anything; they came up in a generic search): http://www.8ov.org/calendar2009.htm http://www.printablecalendar.ca/ App (again, not tested. This came up in search.): http://www.luckymesoftware.com/ MS WORD ------------------ If you use MS Word already, look for the wizard called "calendar.wiz", if memory serves. You can create and print your own calendars with or without pictures. MS OUTLOOK ------------------------ If you're also using MS Outlook already, you can print calendar pages easily, just select the style you want and to leave out calendar events, which it can do. I haven't looked but perhaps also OpenOffice provided similar capabilities (wouldn't surprise me ::g::). And more can be found here: http://www.google.ca/#hl=en&source=hp&q=printable+calendars+free&btnG=Google+Search&meta=&aq=1&oq=printable+calendars&fp=9fc85632ae225b92 Good luck. hth

[snip] There may not be a wizard but a quick google search brought up reference to a template in the Oo repository (everyone's stealing Linux terminology! ::g::): http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Extensions_repository another specific reference here: http://www.ooomacros.org/user.php#217442 Not tested, but this and my other post might get you going. hth

For an online gizmo to create/print a calendar constructed to my choosing at time&date http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/custommenu.html This is the advanced configuration form for the calendar customizer. The smaller, classic form with more basic options is available in the Basic Calendar Customizer. -- Mike Easter
