Anyone know it this is possible? I have a standard wireless Netgear
router. The iBook is hooked up to it via ethernet cable (no wireless
card in the iBook). I'd really like to be able to access the iBook's
disk from my MBP (SL, Unibody)....

Yeah, sure.

Turn on sharing in the iBook. Then you should be able to open a
finder window in your MBP and see the iBook under "SHARED."
