From: Tim on 23 Feb 2010 12:31 Thanks for your suggestions. When I go to the Active Directory Users and Computers the only OU is the kafebar.local The Users listed are Administrator Guest IUSR_WIN-EUGSO7LO7PY QBDataServiceUser18 The user names mentioned in your post do not exist and there is no SBSUsers. I checked the SBSsetup.log and did not see anything that seemed suspicious. Should I post my log or should I just bite the bullet and start over? The problem with starting over is that I may end up in the same place. From: "Robbin Meng [MSFT]" on 23 Feb 2010 22:08 Hi Tim, Thanks for your reply. I just would like to confirm with you that can you see there is an OU named "MyBusiness" under kafebar.local? Or "MyBusiness" OU is renamed to different OU. Please make sure MyBusiness OU name and make sure it is "MyBusiness" literally instead of anything else. (Note, in ADUC, click View on the menu and select "Advanced features") If you can see it, please expand it and see if there is "Users" and then "SBSUsers" OU? By default, the following accounts are system default accounts that created when SBS is installed and all of them should be disabled after created. -Network Administrator -Standard User -Standard User with administration links If there is indeed no OU at all under kafebar.local, I'm afraid you may have to start over to reinstall the SBS 2008 server. Please check and follow the below SBS 2008 "Installation Worksheet" to do it. From: Tim on 26 Feb 2010 12:25 Robin, Thanks for keeping with this. I can confirm that there is no "MyBusiness" OU under kafebar.local. It has not been renamed, so I thnk it was probably not created during install. I will take your advice and start over again. Also thanks for the links to the documentation, etc. Cheers, Tim ""Robbin Meng [MSFT]"" wrote: > > Hi Tim, > > Thanks for your reply. > > I just would like to confirm with you that can you see there is an OU named "MyBusiness" under kafebar.local? From: "Robbin Meng [MSFT]" on 28 Feb 2010 22:30 Hi Tim, Thank you for your update. Since we cannot see the "SBSUsers" OU, we may have to go ahead and perform a reinstallation. Please do not hesitate to post in SBS newsgroup if you need any further assistance in the future. Have a nice day.
