I've been monitoring it. Normally I get 4-8 spam msgs per day. Since the problem began, the spam folder shows nothing new. The most recent spam date is Wed, 4/28/10. I figger something like 20-60 spam msgs failed to make it to the spam folder. Can you make anything of that? I'm pert near clueless. Thx, P "Law Without Equity Is No Law At All. If not, I'd try a new mail profile. You say you're using Outlook 2000. If it's in Internet Mail Only mode, that's a problem because it's not easy to create a new mail profile. You have to mess with the registry. I always found it easier to convert to Corporate/Workgroup mode because then the Mail applet in Control Panel would allow me to create a new profile without using regedit.. I just mentioned it because POP doesn't ever check that folder and if you use a mail client, there's little reason to ever log into the server via web. Server-side spam folders can get very full. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
From: Puddin' Man on 10 May 2010 18:38 I finally got a competent ATT support-critter to elevate the problem to Yahoo server support (yes, it actually exists) where a corrupted mailbox was "fixed". Much thanks for help with this. P On Fri, 7 May 2010 07:45:09 -0400, "Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]" <tillman1952(a)yahoo.com> wrote: >> I put a couple of first-que'd messages in a "test" folder.
