There's a third way, Chromium. But if I were on Windows, I'd just use
Iron.

SRware Iron has its own adblocker built into that web browser. No
extension is required.

SR Iron, (because I have youngsters that use facebook) you can store
cookies "until I close my browser, or set a date)
IXQuick for searching works well with Iron.
Not really much to say, it works easily, and stores the history
without storing cookies etc.
