Better safe than sorry. I hope you disposed of the hammer safely.

It's good to see you took proper precautions.

Yep that's correct but it seems rather more difficult for PC users to not
act like idiots ;-) But in reality it's unlikily that even clicking on a
'virus' file
it wonl;t affect the Mac OS X.
I've even tried launching some of those exe files you sometimews get inn
scam emails and nothing happens.

Yep, until a real threat is found anyway, then it's time to panic :-)

I was thinking that, I do an adaware check on mine and there's always
something
that's not quite right. I do have mcafee on my PC so I hope that gets
everything.
But a few weeks ago we had problems where 3 PCs wouldn't startup because
mcafee screwed up on it's updates.

I hope you thoroughly cleaned yourself after as I've been told that any
shrapnel
from a destroyed virus ridden Mac will infect the next Mac you buy.
And I'm taking extra precautions while typing this email I'm wearing a
condom on each of my two typing fingers for this and coners replies in case
he infects me with the Mac viruses he spreads on forums ;-0
