I don't understand the nature of your final goal, knowing next to
nothing myself, but you've posted on the subject before without a
mention of Ubuntu. I'm just throwing it in; in the unlikely event

Thanks Wheel. I'm afraid my post was a bit more muddled than usual.
What I'm looking for is something similar to box.net or spideroak but as
a "private cloud," that is on our own servers... E.g. not Canonical's.

Thank you for the clarification. I'll revise my "next to nothing", to
"nothing". :)
