From: Stretch on 20 May 2010 18:20 I am working on a proposal. This means an individual can be responsible for several paragraphs in the statement of work (SOW). I pasted SOW paragraph numbers separated by commas into a text field. No problem. Here is the text I want to paste: 3.2.7, 3.2.7.1, 3.2.7.1.1, 3.2.7.1.2, 3.2.7.2, 3.2.7.2.1, 3.7.2.2.2 However, when I made the text field a Custom Field, Project 2007 stripped off everything after the first comma. Is there any way to make this work in a custom field? Thanks in advance.
From: Jim Aksel on 20 May 2010 18:54 The text from your post pasted perfectly to Project 2007 for me in the Text6 field. Sorry, cannot reproduce your problem. Are you sure the text is not just hidden because the column width is a little narrow? Try opening column width to see if it is there. -- If this post was helpful, please consider rating it. From: JulieS on 20 May 2010 20:31 Stretch, When you say you "made the text field a Custom Field" exactly what did you do? Like Jim, I had no trouble copying and pasting into a text field. What are you trying to accomplish in the custom field? I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
