The issue has been resolved. I had to backtrack to see what I did that might
have resolved it. I have seen issues like this with Group Policy. I fault
MSFT for improper queries.

I had several documents that were directly related to this issue. I decided
to use a new query with Google, IE 8 companyweb

First item on the list:
http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive/2009/02/24/known-issues-after-installing-ie-8-on-small-business-server-2008-and-the-vista-clients-that-are-joined-to-the-sbs-domain.aspx

I reviewed method 1. Everything was already set as it should be. However,
like with Group Policy, what you see is not what you have. So, I chose to
click Save without making any changes.

I was going through another document
(http://blogs.technet.com/askds/archive/2008/06/11/kerberos-authentication-problems-service-principal-name-spn-issues-part-3.aspx)
which leads you here
(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee176972.aspx) to create a .vbs
file. I didn't get a good return so I turned my sniffer back on to capture
the error again but this time, there was no error and I connected to the
Companyweb. I verified by going to another client and testing there. No
prompt for credentials there either.

So, like with Group Policy, saving your settings again resolved the issue.
