Why? Do you even know how much power your personal computer users?
Have you ever actually measured it?

Easy enough -- though I've mainly used my Kil-A-Watt for a gourmet
coffee/chocolate bean roaster and getting a truer indication of its
program cycles. Hard to believe lengths they'd go before that, buying
a VARIAC to finely control roaster element. A single-source coffee
interest in generally under-roasting apart darker-roasted espresso
blends -- traditionally simple enough, go for the gusto with smoke
near the end of the roast cycle -- although wouldn't say that in front
of someone paying gourmet pricing on cupped and judged, award-grade
show beans.

Did see an Antec TP-550, conservatively rated 20% lower than a
measurable draw its specified for. Goes on sale at NewEgg with a
promotional code, if anyone's interested. The rebate is also straight
through USPS via Fremont, CA -- unusual source origin for rebates, but
at least no dicking with pre-registering required personal information
in order to be processed and authorized for the rebate form (exactly
what Corsair was doing recently with their power supplies). This
one's $39 on a listed $79 ANTEC in about 18 hours Monday's time,
midnight. Sharp -- stock doesn't always last.

And, instead of just babbling, what did you come up with?

What's to keep in mind when doing cursory power measurements for
troubleshooting a slew of LG optical drives and controllers, is a
balance and mean, in industry terms, in such cases. Graciously past
measurements and component-draw tables, (I was apt to run 4 DVDs and 4
HDs from not an immodest 400W source), and again, past buying into a
sub-500 watt model, for advancements now nearer to a standard entry
for higher-rated supplies engineered in a present market. There's
really no reason not to equate quality in an entry Bronze power
certification, along with modular conveniences, at such an alluring
low price, as indicative of other than a sterling opportunity
presently at my disposal. All else being the same or less, kept
reserves in power needn't occur as an exercise to tax a limitation
over fewer DVDs and green drives taking up the slack. . .it's
something you just have to deal with as lower rated units become
obsolete.

Sounds like somebody starts babbling bullshit when he cannot
answer a straightforward question.

How much power does your personal computer actually use?
