ran the latest win2K update this morning and now the system is thrashing. continuous 100% cpu usuage. Looks like they have screwed printer spooling as spoolsv.exe is just chewing up cpu time. Creating and pinning shortcuts to Win7 Taskbar?
Still more experimenting with Win7. I have some shortcuts that I use to copy files. They're just batch files. On XP I had the shortcuts on the task bar. Update on weird problem.
I ended up having the machine on the bench for 7 days and it finally failed in the same manner as at the customers house. Would not turn on at all. Disconnected all peripherals and still would not turn on. Replaced the motherboard and all happy again. ... 22 Feb 2010 12:57
