From: will_456 on 7 Jun 2010 16:59 I want to automatically create an image gallery webpage where the user just clicks a thumbnail to see the full image. I have previously used Irfanview to do this wonderfully but now it doesn't work. I don't know whether it's just Windows 7 but all I get is a blank page. Any alternatives?

According to the webpage Irfanview supports W7: | IrfanView is a very fast, small, compact and innovative FREEWARE (for | non-commercial use) graphic viewer for Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP, | 2003 , 2008, Vista, Windows 7. So I'm guessing you're doing something wrong. -- s|b

I'm sticking with the default settings. The thumbnails are created and the originals are copied to a folder. The html page is created but it is blank. It only makes a table for the first picture and doesn't fill in any paths or picture information. (Weird). <TABLE> #IMAGE_BEGIN# <TD ALIGN=CENTER VALIGN=BOTTOM><FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-Serif" size="-2"> <A HREF="#LINK#" target="#TARGET#" style="text-decoration:none"><IMG SRC=#THUMB# BORDER="0" ALT="#ALT_TXT#"> <div style="text-align: #TXT_ALIGN#">#IMAGE_TEXT#</div></A></FONT></TD> #IMAGE_END# </TABLE>

Stupid question perhaps, but have you tried reinstalling? Don't forget to delete the i_view32.ini file when you uninstall. -- s|b

Irfanview Thumbnails needed to be run as Administrator. Works fine now.
