From: cupcake379 on 11 Feb 2007 09:35 I was having a problem with DW and my Yahoo account. I contacted Yahoo and was told to remove the extentions and uninstall DW8 and reinstall. Now I am getting an error when I shut down my DW. This is the error: At line 19 of file "C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Shutdown\ys_xml_shutdown.htm": TypeError:ys_xerces.stopXML is not a function. Does anyone know what this means and how I can fix it? Thanks!
From: Murray *ACE* on 11 Feb 2007 09:48 You can try this simple fix - Quit DW. Find this folder - C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat (these folders are normally hidden - you may have to use Explorer > Tools > Folder Options to unhide them) or on Mac - Library/Application Support/Macromedia/Dreamweaver 8/Configuration/MacFileCache-*.dat and delete it. Restart DW. From: Murray *ACE* on 11 Feb 2007 10:38 Have you enabled the display of hidden folders in Explorer? -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.dreamweavermx-templates.com - Template Triage! http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.macromedia.com/support/search/ - Macromedia (MM) Technotes ================== "cupcake379" <webforumsuser(a)macromedia.com> wrote in message news:eqnc47$nj1$1(a)forums.macromedia.com... > Murray, I still am not able to find that particular folder.
