From: Rajiv K Khandelwal on 21 Jan 2010 06:00 Thanks Ace and Jim for your advice and comments. When I did not get a response from the "microsoft.connect.windows.server.sbs08" newsgroup I posted it here? Unless someone else responds otherwise, I would go ahead and make the necessary adjustments after of course, backing upu that section of the reg. Re-run the BPA to make sure the change made was correct. Monitor the Event logs for any issues. Ace
From: Rajiv K Khandelwal on 22 Jan 2010 05:45 Thanks Ace for your response. The link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd789667(EXCHG.80).aspx does not mention any change in the registry but a file. Unfortunately I am unable to save the file after editing it. Make sure your account has FC on it and if Read is onit, take it off. However, if this is SBS 2008 as you've indicated, I don't think this change will affect you since it's a smaller environment, based on what that link says, so you can probably get away with keeping it at what it's at.
