I have a Dell Poweredge T100 that came with SBS 2003 R2 preinstalled with a
SAS6iR RAID controller with 2 disks in a RAID1 configuration. The server is
over a year old. I have received a warning of predictive failure on a disk.
I tried to use the Dell SAS RAID Storage Manager but it asks for a username
and password. The documentation says to use the machine username/password
and not the network username/password, but of course, this machine is a
domain controller, so that is not available.

Does anyone know what the username/password combo should be for this?

If not, can I uninstall and reinstall the software without affecting the
current RAID configuration? I want to make sure I don't inadvertenly delete
the RAID set.

Hi,

From memory, I'm sure you can use a domain admin/password combo for this.

Regards Colin.

On DCs, the network logon is also a local logon. That is what you want to
use.
