From: Leonard Agoado on 4 Jun 2010 15:24 Hi all, Has anyone seen a resolution to the Discover card Direct Connect failures? I entered myself in the Intuit Support Alert list for this issue days ago and have yet to hear anything back. One thing I have noticed is two separate entries for Discover Card in the recently downloaded Financial Institution list; one indicating Web Connect as the available protocol and the other indicating Direct Connect; rather than a single entry indicating both. -- regards, Leonard Agoado agoado(a)msn.com

The free option is using Web connect. This is also true for FI's like Chase. That is if you meet the minimum requirements for the fee to be waived. That is if they allow it. As for a fix. The fix will not happen overnight. They may announce a fix but it might not be available until the next patch.

Although I've received no notice, it might be in the offing, though I hope not. I remember the Chase conversion from WAMU, when free banking Direct Connect went away while my old Chase Credit Cards still worked fine. If that's their plan, then I would expect to see no fix or patch. Thanks for the reply. Regards, Len Agoado agoado(a)msn.com
