From: Chris in San Diego on 16 Feb 2010 20:11 I posted a question in the Project Server group with the title "Can't add calendar exceptions for resources (vacations, etc.)" Since there doesn't appear to be an easy "Show me my submissions" option, I tried searching the Project Server group for "add calendar exceptions for resources" but search did not find my entry. Am I expecting too much?
From: Trevor Rabey on 16 Feb 2010 22:09 No. You are just not doing a very good search. Try "exceptions" or "calendars" and go from there. -- Trevor Rabey 0407213955 61 8 92727485 PERFECT PROJECT PLANNING www.perfectproject.com.au "Chris in San Diego" <ChrisinSanDiego(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E8FFA93D-7495-4B4D-88B5-EC1BF57A3DDF(a)microsoft.com... >I posted a question in the Project Server group with the title "Can't add > calendar exceptions for resources (vacations, etc.)" > > Since there doesn't appear to be an easy "Show me my submissions" option, > I > tried searching the Project Server group for "add calendar exceptions for > resources" but search did not find my entry. From: Rob Schneider on 17 Feb 2010 01:42 Depends fully on how you are interacting with the newsgroup (which you don't say). The primary options are a newsgroup reader or a web site interface. I normally use a newsgroup reader (Thunderbird by Mozilla) but when I want to search for something I use Google's front end to the newsgroup. Give it a try. They have full instructions there for how to search. From: JulieS on 17 Feb 2010 08:24 Hi Chris in San Diego, No, it's not you. The "alert by email" and the search features have been malfunctioning for awhile. I notice you did find your submission in the Project Server Newsgroup along with Dale's reply. As Rob noted, google groups is likely the best answer to find your posts and using a newsreader (Thunderbird, Agent, etc) makes life in the newsgroups much easier. Hi Trevor, I tried just "calendar" and lots of entries were found, but not mine and nothing for 2010; they were all older posts. Thanks, Chris "Trevor Rabey" wrote: > No. You are just not doing a very good search. > Try "exceptions" or "calendars" and go from there. > -- > Trevor Rabey > 0407213955 > 61 8 92727485 > PERFECT PROJECT PLANNING > www.perfectproject.com.au > > "Chris in San Diego" <ChrisinSanDiego(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in > message news:E8FFA93D-7495-4B4D-88B5-EC1BF57A3DDF(a)microsoft.com... > >I posted a question in the Project Server group with the title "Can't add > > calendar exceptions for resources (vacations, etc.)" > > > > Since there doesn't appear to be an easy "Show me my submissions" option, > > I > > tried searching the Project Server group for "add calendar exceptions for > > resources" but search did not find my entry.
