From: Thorsten on 14 Nov 2005 07:51 We bought the russian language module, but all I can see are ASCII characters. I tried to run it on an international server, switched to Russian, but the result is the same. I tried the same in Navision 4.0 (Demo) also same result. Doesn't Navision support Unicode? Why it is sold, if it doen't work?. We are using a Navision Finacials 2.6 database in an Attain 3.6 application. Regards Thorsten

From: Andrey Gulnev on 14 Nov 2005 10:29 Hello, It works properly. Actually, ask your partner to download Russian Product CD from Partnersource. It contains Microsoft Navision Client for English US and Russian languages and also modules of Russian Accountancy. Also there exist instructions for adding new language module that are necessary to proceed WITH YOUR PARTNER or with a proper license that allows modules translation (if you have a number of new customized objects that are not included into standart edition, e.g. if you developed it yourself). From: Kine (Kamil S.) on 15 Nov 2005 07:33 Because Navision is not Unicode, you must have set correct language in Control Panel - Regional settings - Language for Non-unicode applications. This is the main setting for working with Navision in Cyrillic...
